MOU Signing between National University of Technology (NUTECH) Islamabad and Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic (GPP) China for DAE Program
In a momentous occasion at the heart of academic excellence, the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, hosted a historic agreement signing ceremony with Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic (GPP), China. This collaboration marks the commencement of a dynamic partnership to launch a cutting-edge 03 years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) program, in which 02 years education will be in PAKISTAN and 01 year in CHINA setting new benchmarks in technical education.
Rector NUTECH, Lt General Moazzam Ejaz (Retired), emphasized the importance of this partnership in shaping the future of aspiring engineers, providing them with a global perspective and a strong foundation in engineering principles. The program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. The agreement also encourages the exchange of faculty members between the two institutions.
This exchange will facilitate the sharing of expertise, pedagogical best practices, and collaborative research endeavors, enhancing the overall academic experience. “The signing of this agreement is a testament to NUTECH commitment to excellence in education.
By partnering with Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic, we aim to create a transformative educational experience for our students, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to become leaders in the field of engineering.”
Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) Visa Documentation Handing Over Ceremony at NUTECH
The Government of Pakistan has nominated NUTECH as the “Sending Organization” for TITP Japan. For this purpose, NUTECH selected the best possible candidates for this program. Individuals were interviewed for different skills categories as demanded by Japan Government, which included skills in Care Workers, Automobile Repair & Maintenance, Excavating Works, Livestock & Agriculture, and Fishery. In this regard, after the completion of all formalities in Pakistan and Japan, the TITP Visa Documentation Handing over Ceremony was organized at NUTECH on 6 Jan 2023.
Earlier on arrival at the National University of Technology, Chief Guest Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, was received by the Pro-Rector of the University Maj Gen Khalid Javed. While interacting with students, parents, and faculty, Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs said NUTECH played an important role in collaboration with the Government and prepared the first batch of youth to Japan for this program.
Later, SAPM on Youth Affairs Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja handed over Visa Documents and also awarded certificates to students who secured positions in a National Quaid documentary competition. She congratulated the participants who successfully completed their Technical Intern Training Program at NUTECH and the recipients of certificates. Under TITP, around 65 students have successfully completed their training and the first batch of 6 people will be proceeding to Japan, soon Insha’Allah.
TITP facilitate the dynamic and challenging internship opportunity for young students to be part of this program from 1 to 5 years. This internship program develops functional capabilities in the incumbent that can enable him to perform exceptionally in various professional settings. NUTECH is recognized as one of the sending organization in this program by Government of Pakistan_ NUTECH is putting forward its earnest efforts in collaboration with Government, to send the batch of young and brazen to japan for this program.
